Character Mapping Table

BeyondPress provides mappings for many characters outside the basic ASCII character set. The characters are mapped to their equivalent representation in the ISO 8859-1 (Latin-1) character set. This table gives you an idea of the types of characters that BeyondPress converts, but it is not a complete list.

These characters are mapped to one or more "plain-ASCII" characters:

Other special characters

BeyondPress will convert any special characters that have corresponding HTML codes, including the copyright ® and registered trademark ™ symbols, and most accented vowels.
