Conversion Mode: Rearranging Elements

To rearrange elements in a Web page, drag the corresponding icons to the correct position in the Content List.

* Text Chains TxtChain and Images ImageDC can be rearranged and dragged into Web page folders WebPageDC, and dragged on top of Text Chains TxtChain (to anchor them in text).

* Tables TableDC and Lists TextasList that are not part of a larger Text Chain can also be rearranged.

* Text Ranges AnchorTxt, Anchored Text AnchorTxt, and Anchored Images AnchorImge are displayed in gray because they cannot be moved using the palette.

To change the position of these elements, the original content must be rearranged in the document. Tables TableDC and Lists TextasList that are part of a larger Text Chain cannot be moved.

Renaming Elements

To rename an element in the Content List, click the text to highlight it, then enter a new name using up to 64 characters. Here's how elements are named by default:

* Web pages in conversion mode are named "Untitled Web Page" until you rename them.

* Text elements are named with the first 64 characters in the story.

* Image elements are named using the image file name; "xxx" if the image has no associated file; or "Empty Picture Box" is there is no image in the box.

Navigating the Document

Double-click on an element in the Content List to jump to it in the document. If an item in the document has been entered into the Content List, select the item in the document to select it in the list. Triangles to the left of Web page folders in the list let you expand or collapse the contents of each folder.
