SELECT A BOOK:
Image Pane of the Elements Palette
Open the Image pane by selecting the Image tab of the Elements palette.
By clicking Locate Folder 
and selecting the folder that contains your Web page images, an image list is created in the Image pane. This will designate your shared image folder in the site preferences if you have not already designated a folder.
To place images, drag them from the Image pane onto a QuarkXPress page. Any image dragged from the Image pane is automatically set to be shared. As you export other images which you have designated as Shared Images (via the Attributes Inspector), they are added to this list and become available for use on other Web pages.
