Previewing Links Before you post a Web page, you'll want to test all the links you've established. You can preview internal links from text or images in a Web page preview. However, you cannot test relative or direct external links from a preview. To test external links, you must export the Web page to HTML. Testing internal links
1 Select a Web Page
2 Click Preview 3 The Web page is displayed in your preferred browser. Click on linked text or images to confirm their destinations. 4 When you're finished looking at the preview, close it and return to the QuarkXPress document. Testing external links
1 Select a Web Page 2 Choose Export or Export As from the HTML pop-up menu next to the Web page. 3 Specify a location for the Web page that is either on your Web site or on a mock-up of your Web site on your hard drive or network. Make sure the Web page name is final. 4 Click Save. Open the Web page in your preferred browser. 5 Click on linked text or images to confirm their destinations. 6 When you have confirmed all the links, close the Web page. If you export the Web page again, be sure to use the same name and location to maintain the links. Note: You can only click on image maps if you're using Client-Side image maps or if you've exported the page directly to your Web site.
