Viewing Web Page Links in QuarkXPress

An Application Preference, "Show Hidden Text," lets you identify any text in a QuarkXPress document that is part of a link.

After you create a link, the Link Source text is underlined in magenta in the QuarkXPress document. For links within the same document, the Link Destination text is underlined in cyan. The underline is for display only -- it will not print.

Think of "Show Hidden Text" as similar in function to the "Show Invisibles" option in QuarkXPress.

1 Open Application Preferences (click Preferences Prefbtn on the Document Content palette, then click Application).

Show Hidden Text

2 Check Show Hidden Text in the Display area.

3 Click OK to close BeyondPress Preferences and save changes.

Note: When you use an image as a link source, it is not indicated in the QuarkXPress document.
