Adding Text to Web Pages Typography You can add text to your pages by drawing a text box in QuarkXPress and either typing in or importing text. BeyondPress uses Cascading Style Sheets, the Font Face HTML tag, and Bitstream's TrueDoc font technology to maintain typography. These features can be used separately or in conjunction with each other to accommodate each feature's support in a specific browser. * Both Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and above, and Netscape Navigator 3.0 and above support the Font Face HTML tag. Users must have the designated fonts installed on their systems. * Explorer 3.0 and above, and Navigator 4.0 and above support Cascading Style Sheets. Users must have the designated fonts installed on their systems. * Navigator 4.0 supports TrueDoc. TrueDoc creates a separate Portable Font Resource file for each font. Users do not need specific fonts installed to view Web pages created with TrueDoc.
BeyondPress will automatically convert any text colors you use in QuarkXPress to text colors on a Web page. Black text will be displayed by most browsers in the color specified by Text Color in Web Page Preferences. (See Link Text Attributes.)
