Custom HTML Items

BeyondPress lets you add HTML items to Web pages. There are seven default HTML items in the HTML pane of the Elements palette: Horizontal Rule, Line Break, Paragraph Return, Space, Date, Time, and Margin Reset. These are your default Master Elements.

Two additional icons (indicated by a question mark) allow you to add Custom HTML elements as well as Master Elements from other documents.

You create Custom and Master Elements in the HTML pane of the Elements palette.

Custom and/or Master Elements can be:

* New HTML tags or attributes.

* Headers and footers which contain text or a combination of HTML, text, and images.

* Meta tags for search engines.

* Java Scripts.

* HTML tables or other items which you use more than once.

* Custom elements can contain other custom or Master Elements by including the element name between curly brackets {Master Element}.
